A memorandum of understanding has been signed between FMRS and the Department of Environmental Systems Management (Precision Agriculture) of Perrotis College.
FMRS produced, in collaboration with WWF Hellas, national ‘land cover’ maps of Greece for the years 1987 and 2007. These maps are freely available online at http://www.oikoskopio.gr/map/ (Υπόβαθρα, Καλύψεις Γης).
FMRS collaborates with Geosystems Hellas in the frame of the NFOFRAS project. NFOFRAS is the main si-Cluster (Hellenic Space Technologies and Applications Cluster) collaborative project focusing on forest fires.
Alexandra Stefanidou who is doing her MSc thesis at FMRS will stay at CNR-IMAA (Potenza, Italy) for two months as a part of her training in remote sensing of forest fires.
FMRS to represent i-BEC in the Copernicus days workshop to be held in Rome (7-8 September 2014).
