The ArcFUEL project final meeting will be hosted in Thessaloniki on the 18th December 2013.

One day training course on Active Earth Observation will be offered by Prof. Iain Woodhouse and Dimitris Michelakis, University of Edinburgh. The event that is organised within the frame of TELE-KYOTO project will take place at the premises of FMRS on Wednesday the 11th of December 2013.
The G2 model that was recently developed by FMRS (in collaboration with the JRC-IES) within the frame of the Geolan2 project now appears in Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soil_erosion).
A ‘thank you’ letter was received from the Civil Protection Agency of Greece for the FMRS contribution to the production of the National Fire Risk Index during the 2013 fire season.
